Lisa Edelstein was an American actor who gained notoriety as the star of Fox's House medical show. After turning 18, Lisa moved to New York City from Wayne where she was raised according to strict Jewish tradition. Soon, she was a part of New York's club scene and started making headlines. Also, the press noticed her. She utilised both her experience in the music industry and public recognition to write and perform in a brand new musical called Positive Me. Awake to the Wild Side, a show that she was host for MTV became her first task. When the show ended, she went on to work in movies and TV productions. Her first job was in smaller roles, and then became established slowly as an actor.
