Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez is a TV arbitrator from Cuba and America for Caso Cerrado, is the host of Ana Polo Rules. Ana was born and was raised in Cuba's Havana. She moved to Miami along with her family at the age of 2 following her move from Havana. Born in Habana, Cuba, Ana Maria Polo is host of the well-known Telemundo program "Caso Cerrado" which is the first Spanish language program nominated for the Daytime Emmy(r) Award. The show was ranked in 2015 as the most popular Spanish-language programming on the air at 4pm in important demos. Polo is a native of Cuba that was born the 11th of April 1959. She attended Florida International University and graduated in political sciences. After that, she earned her PhD in law from the University of Miami. For 20 years, Polo worked in Miami. Then, after earning her PhD in law from University of Miami in law and being a lawyer at the bar in Miami city for 20 years. Polo was first exposed to television audiences in 2001, on Telemundo's Sala de Parejas (2001) along with other shows on courts where the legal skills of her was showcased. Literature Works and Accolades 1958, she wrote the book Los Hijos Muertos (The dead children), with which she received the Critic's Prize as well as the Spanish National Prize for Literature. Ana Maria Matute arrived in the United States of America from Spain, 1960. Polo also a breast cancer patient and cancer survivor, frequently speaks out about her cause. Polo has been a vocal advocate on behalf of LGBT concerns. She received her law degree at the University of Miami School of Law in 1987 and is an active member of the Florida Bar.
