Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe is a child of an ethnically diverse family in South London in England. Her father is Nigerian-Swiss as is her mom who's English. She was raised in a south London community estate, where she attended The Brit School at age fourteen. She received her Bachelor of Arts in acting from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. She was on stage in several productions as a student like the role of King Henry V, as Princess Katherine, and Wuthering Heights, as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe started her acting career through the movie Storm Damage. She has since made appearances in Teachers, Doctors Casualty and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Her debut film as a performer was her role in the Woody Allen 2007 movie Cassandra's Dream. She starred alongside Colin Farrell & Ewan MacGregor. Following that success her role was Elisha in the one-off BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN, and appeared in six episodes of Trexx and Flipside as Ollie. In 2008 she landed Bambi's role on ITV2 Drama The Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe was in the series 2 and 3. Madekwe made an appearance in the Comedy film How to Lose Friends & Get People to Leave. She was also on the screen in Little Sweet Thing, by Roy Williams, and Flight Path written directed by David Watson.
Madekwe first aired in the US in the US with The Beautiful Life. The drama series aired at The CW for only two episodes before being cancelled. Ashley Davenport appeared in ABC drama Revenge as of February 2011. Madekwe was a regular on the drama series on ABC Revenge for two seasons. Ashley Leggat grew up in Hamilton Ontario and was a part of a large family. She joined her parents, Roy and Patty as well as her four brothers -Rob, Brett, and twins Todd and Bram. Ashley lived in stadiums or baseball parks because the four brothers who were athletic played hockey and baseball and basketball in spring and summer. Ashley could not walk but could dance.
