Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts' parents are Walter Grady Roberts and Betty Lou Bredemus. Her family is the fourth Roberts family to have resided in Atlanta. It began with her great grandfather John Pendleton Roberts who was farmer. Her father was interested in theatre since a young age. He acted on the Emory University campus in 1952 as well as in various productions around Atlanta. He joined the Air Force, and was stationed in Biloxi in Mississippi, he acted in a play together with Betty Lou Bredemus. They married in 1955. Their child, Eric Anthony, was born in 1956. Walter was a student at Tulane University at New Orleans, Louisiana in 1957 after they had separated from the US Air Force. Walter became a member of Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio when they moved their family from Atlanta to Decatur, Georgia in 1960. Walter along with Betty Lou started production in 1964 for the local Saturday morning children's TV show Bum Bum and His Buddies that they self-funded. They also founded the six-year Actors and Writers Workshop later the same year. They had two more children. Lelisa Billingsley (1965) (also called Lisa), and Julia Billingsley (1967) (also also known by the same name Julie).
