He became the NBA's first player with 10,000 points, 10 rebounds and an assist in 2022. James played basketball at St. Vincent St. Mary High School in Akron, Ohio. James was feted by media across the nation as the future NBA superstar. In preparation for his professional career his dream, it was the Cleveland Cavaliers chose him as the first pick overall in the NBA draft in 2003. Being the NBA rookie of the year 2004 he established himself rapidly as one of the best players in the league. earning the NBA MVP award for 2009 and 2010. James signed a free-agent contract following his failure to win championships with Cleveland. The decision to quit Cleveland to join Miami Heat, announced on The Decision, a popular television show The Decision, is considered as one of the most controversial free-agent decisions in the history of sports.
