LeBron Raymone James Sr. - born 30 December 1984 is a professional American basketball star. King James, he's widely considered to be the most successful athlete of all time and has frequently compared to Michael Jordan during debates about the greatest basketball player of all time. James was awarded two Olympic gold medals as well as four NBA championships. James has the highest points during the playoffs, with the second-highest number of points in his career and is seventh in assists in his career. James played basketball for St. Vincent St. Mary High School in Akron in Ohio. James was feted by the national press as the future NBA superstar. A prep-to-pro, he was selected for the Cleveland Cavaliers with the first overall pick in the 2003 NBA draft. When he was named the 2004 NBA Rookie Of The Year, he quickly became a top player within the NBA receiving the MVP award in both 2009 and 2010 for the NBA. in 2009 and 2010 James signed with the Miami Heat in 2010 when James became a Free Agent after failing to achieve a Championship with Cleveland.
